Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and had complete amenities, but being located in the backside of a small public mosque with a noisy speaker was a downside. However, the rooms were big enough, quiet, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The hotel is not on the main road but is still pretty close to restaurants and markets.
The hotel's rooms were a bit smaller than expected but very clean and suitable for a little family. The staff was friendly and obliging, but there were some issues with table clearing efficiency and proactive service. The location was convenient, surrounded by food stalls and shops, but staff assistance was lacking at times. The dining experience was average with a dated menu leaning towards fried options. Overall, the hotel offered value for money with clean and comfortable rooms.
When I arrived at the hotel, the room wasn't ready, but once I got in, it was big enough, and I even liked that it was a smoking room with breakfast included. The service was exceptional, especially when we arrived at 2 am after a long delay. The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location was a bit out, but great for exploring the town, with attractions like the old Dutch quarter and Simpang Lima not far away. The dining options were decent, although they leaned a bit too heavily on fried foods. The facilities were good overall.
I absolutely loved the comfortable rooms and how clean the bathrooms were. The balcony overlooking the pool was a delightful touch, although more lighting would have been great. The lack of artwork on the walls was a bit plain, but still a cozy stay.
The hotel is conveniently located near China Town with easy access to numerous food stalls and restaurants, making it a great spot to explore the town. However, the rooms need more light until the evening and had a persistent unpleasant smell. The dining options seemed a bit outdated and lacking clear direction. The service was a mix of helpfulness, but could be more attentive. The facilities were satisfactory overall.
